Ylla Gomes
Cultural producer, connector, and guardian of stories. With a background in Anthropology and Law, I developed a practice that integrates critical thinking, aesthetic sensitivity, and a deep commitment to social impact.
My journey in the cultural and educational field began during my undergraduate studies in Law, when I designed and coordinated projects that fostered connections between the university and communities facing social vulnerability.
In 2010, I began my journey in the audiovisual field, working on projects that explore sensitive, political, and plural narratives.
Since 2018, I have been shaping these paths through Lobo Guará Cultural Productions, the company I founded to create projects that connect art, territory, education, and transformation. Over the years, I have collaborated with artists, institutions, and diverse initiatives, always believing in the power of storytelling to spark encounters, shift perspectives, and imagine possible futures.
I believe in the strength of collectivity, in listening as a method, and in culture as a tool for change.
The political force of culture lies in its ability to tell stories that foster connection and open new paths.
The Mystique of the maned wolf
Solitary, yet essential. The maned wolf inhabits the Cerrado — a generous biome, often overlooked, but vital.
With its long legs and slow steps, it crosses vast distances, spreading seeds along the way.
It plants the future while walking through the present.
We chose this name because we, too, believe in the power of cycles.
In culture as fertile ground, in art as a gesture that blooms, transforms, and connects.
Just like the Cerrado — which links rivers, forests, and landscapes — we connect stories, people, and territories.
At Lobo Guará Cultural, we follow these tracks:
we sow ideas, cultivate narratives, and harvest encounters that germinate transformation.
